TX-PCMs Phase Change Material

TX-PCMs is a high thermal conductivity composite phase change material developed for passive thermal management and temperature buffering. The material combines a bio-based phase-change substrate with expanded graphite to form a thermally conductive composite structure. The expanded graphite network enhances heat transfer within the material, while the phase-change component provides latent heat storage during thermal loading.

TX-PCMs is designed as a solid-solid phase change material, maintaining a solid structural form during the phase-change process. This makes it suitable for applications where dimensional stability and reduced leakage concerns are important.

The powder can be processed into customized PCM sheets, plates, blocks and other thermal-management components through hot pressing and related forming processes.High Thermal Conductivity Graphite Composite PCM Powder: High-Conductivity Solid-Solid PCM for Battery Thermal Management.High Thermal Conductivity · High Latent Heat · Solid-Solid Phase Change · Customizable Temperature

    Key Benefits

    •High Thermal Conductivity
The PCM core is enclosed by a polymer shell. This structure is designed to reduce direct exposure of the phase-change material to the surrounding matrix and minimize liquid leakage concerns during phase transition.

    •High Latent Heat
TX-PCMs provides a latent heat capacity of 210–310 J/g, enabling the material to absorb and store thermal energy during temperature fluctuations.

    •Solid-Solid Phase Change
The material is designed to maintain a solid form throughout its phase-change process. Compared with conventional solid-liquid PCM materials, this structure helps minimize concerns associated with liquid melting, seepage and leakage.

    •Stable Thermal Cycling
According to the current product specification, TX-PCMs maintains more than 95% latent-heat retention after 1,000+ thermal cycles under the specified accelerated testing conditions.

    •Flexible Temperature Design
Phase-change temperature can be customized within approximately 5–120°C. For many lithium-ion battery thermal-management applications, 28–35°C is available as a commonly selected range, subject to the customer's battery chemistry and system requirements.

    •Flexible Processing
TX-PCMs is designed for hot-press forming, PCM sheet production, PCM plate production, PCM block forming and customized thermal-management components.
